MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID

Did you know that you are far more likely to encounter someone in an emotional or mental crisis than someone having a heart attack? Learn how to help a friend, family member, coworker, parishioner, or neighbor in need! Similar to ‘First Aid’ or CPR, “Mental Health First Aid” teaches individuals how to help those experiencing mental health challenges or crises.
Challenges such as depression, anxiety, or substance use are shockingly common in the United States. More than 1 in 5 American adults encounter these problems. This training helps you better identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and provide you with the tools to help friends, family members, colleagues, or others in your community.
