Pastor's Remarks
Dear Friends,
I can hardly believe it's been 12 years since I came to Pine Valley Christian Church. What a journey we've been on together.
I know that many ministers do not stay at a church that long — but this is no "ordinary" church community. Here are some of the things I love about this congregation:
The worship is energizing, uplifting, and thought-provoking.
The people of the congregation put faith into action by being involved in mission beyond our doors.
We are all accepted as we are and who we are.
There is an openness and friendliness in this church that are hard to find in other places.
We involve people of all ages and all abilities in worship. I love to see the children serving alongside the adults.
There is a strong sense of commitment to peace and justice issues.
We have engaging, deep conversations about spiritual and social issues.
Together, we are more than any of us can be alone.
These are but a few of the reasons I love coming to work each day!
